V N o il NS, New Metropelitan Sefan De Luxe — The Richest Bodies that ever graced a famous chassis ’ I ‘ODAY are presented two new Chandler enclosed bodies, eminently worthy of the famous chassis on which they are mounted. It is fairly to be questioned whether any of America’s exclusive custom body builders has ever achieved greater harmony of line, form, finish and detail. As a part of their construction Chandler announces the new V&V Windshield—a radical improvement in design that vastly increases the pleasure of closed car driving. Consisting of a single plate of glass, the V&V Windshield affords clear and complete vision to persons of all heights. There is no rubber strip to strain the eyes; no split to leak air or water; no unsightly quadrants or braces; no thumb screws to rattle or stick. Perfect Ventilation All degrees of ventilation are provided in a manner that is absolutely new: Instead of tilting, the entire windshield slides upward in felt lined channels, respond- ing to an easy turning handle above the shield. With half a turn, a ventilating cur- rent of air is conducted through the cowl to the car floor—although the shield itself is tightly sealed! On anyboulevard—in any company—these two new sedans will dominate. Their color scheme is a brilliant combina- tion of black and Luxor Blue divided by a double molding smartly striped with gold. Their appearance of unusual length and rakish lowness has been achieved by reduc- ing their overall height to less than six feet ithout impairing head room or road clearance Elegance of Detail An unstinted elegance of detail —typical of Fisher coachwork— characterizes the in- teriors. The soft gray mohair upholstery is applied with corded edges instead of being taped. Garnish moldings are of Circassian walnut, harmonizing with asimilarly finished instrument board. The hardware is satin surfaced with _brightly burnished high lights. The seats are low, pillowy, and pitched at an arm chair angle. Even the arm rests are uphol- stered over springs. In the famous Chandler chassis, the Pikes Peak Motor provides absolute mastery over all hill and traffic problems; the Traffic Trans- mission insures silent, certain speed changes under all conditions. Balloon tires eliminate the effects of road irregularities; Chandler 4-wheel brakes provide extra safety at slight extra cost. See These Two New Models at Once!
