ALLENTOWN, Pa, August 26— Failure of Catholic women to exer- cise their constitutional right to vote was criticized by Very Rev. F. W. Messmer, Archbishop of Milwaukee, at the business session here yester- day of the convention of the German Catholics of the United States and Pennsylzania. He declared women, as well as men, should take a more active part in political affairs. The organizations meeting here are the central verene of America, the woman's auxiliary, the young men's branch and the State federation of Pennsylvania. Mrs. E. C. Woverling of Peoria, IiL, is presiding over the sessions of the auxiliary.
