NEW YORK, January 3.—Ninety per cent of the 1,537 aliens who have arrived here in the last two days in six steamships have been admitted to the United States, Commissioner of Immigration ' Curran anuounced. The majority of those admitted were Germans. > Remaining on Ellis Island awaiting disposition of their cases are about 700 aliens. Of this number 565 were held over from November and other quotss.
