Great Britai PRODUCERS OF MEAT HAVANA, Cuba; January 3.—Arturo Sanches, newly ‘appointed Mexican minister to Cuba, has been declared persona grata to the Cuban govern- mept, and is expected to arrive here shortly, it was stated at the state department. He was reported as having passed through Laredo, Tex., last Saturday, and is coming Vvia New Orleans, but the exact time of his arrival is not known here. Antonio Martin Rivero, recently appointed Cuban minister to Mexico, has been detained here by the illness of his wife, but he I8 ex- pected to leave for Mexico City within a short time. ———— JUNIUS I.
