Facing the final day of the fund- raising for the $200,000 goal of the Florence Crittenton Home campaign, 260 workers were resting today to prepare themselves for strenuous work'tomorrow before noon when the drive closes, in ar effort to bring the $87,279.21 total raised thus far up to | the original mark. Thus far the response in Washing- ton has been disappointing to friends of the home, but team members re- ported at headquarters that prospects were bright for the accumulation be- fore tomorrow noon of several large subscriptions which “are expected to swell the fund considerably. At the last meeting the prize for obtaining the greatest amount in sub- - scriptions and pledges went to Team No. 32, under Mrs. A. McManus' division, Mrs. H. B. Drown, captain, with $369.50, while the honors for having obtained the greatest number of pledges wept to Team No. 37, Mrs. M. A. English, captain, in Mrs. F. L. Tabor's division.
