Fort of Tenleytown at the residence of the bride's parents, 1639 W street southeast, which was effectively decorated for the occasion with quantities of roses, gladioli and palms. Mrs. Thomas F. McCarthy played the wedding music. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father. wore a gown of white satin trimmed with lace and pearis. Fer tulle veil was wreathed with orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet of ophelia roses. Miss Margaret Koontz attended the bride as maid of honor. wearing a gown of pink chiffon taffeta. and her bouguet was of pink roses. Mr. Harry 1. Curtis, brother of the bridegroom. was best man. A reception followed when the bride and bridegroom were assisted in receiving by Mrs. Mahoney. mother of the bride, who wore a gown of gray crepe de chine. and Mrs. Curtis, mother of the bride- groom. who wore blue crepe meteor.
