THE ALEXANDRIA AQUEDUCT Beakoer ALDERMEN.—The Board met last evening Mr Thomas presented, at the request of the «Dairman of the joint cemmittee, to whom was reieried the subject of the removal of the Al- exandria Aqueduct, the following report: To the Honeratle the Board of Aldermen and rd «f Common Council of the Corporation of cun, D. Your committee have not, as yel, been far- nisbed wih ipformatien as to the amount meerseary to secure the services of eminent counsel, 2nd ask that further time be granted them toreport thereupon. Mr. Denlop hoped this subject would not be | disposed of toe hastily.
