SATURDAY, MARCH 11, 1922. I hereny certs (Trap Paa “i Erete of Franses Courty of Butler) Septenver 19%) } are LOA Trapshooter Reilly— The Man He is the greatest known living cash profit payer in oil. Hardly a single reader of the American press who does not know of the xploits of this wonderful man. hroughout the ctvilized world ils of his almost miraculous the famous T 2 ho brought fabulous wealth to those who joined him. Trapshooter Reilly is an empire builder of the Petroleum Industry—an architect of For- tune in the most romantic business on earth. This patient tofler, this persistent man, re- buffed in his early life with the handicap of poverty, fought his way, step by step, to the highest industrial heights and to the pinnacle of esteem in the minds of his fel- low Americans. It was Trapshooter Reilly who developed at El Dorado one of the most valuable pieces of oll property in the world and started Kan- sas to its present position as fourth oil pro- ducing state of the union. I have spudded in my first well in Kaufman County —the Porter No. 1. On the morning of March 1 the bit bored its way into the earth on my THREE THOUSAND ACRES. The press of Texas heralds my entry into Kaufman County as the forerunner of a tremendous boom. But that’s nothing. I want oil in Kaufman Coun! ‘Sey of ¥ 1923. (Meee & eupue EF " Sarptsaton expires. . publicity. Sixty days from now I want the news ity—not * to go forth that the Trapshooter Reilly has thrown open to mankind another great pool of petroleum—and I believe that news will go forth. I want the millions for my stockholders and myself—the millions which are bound to come from a great gusher on THREE THOUSAND ACRES. I want the great, large checks to go out from my office—checks such as my stockholders of the famous Trap- shooter Reilly Oil Company up at El Dorado, Kansas, received from small investments with me. I want to repeat, nay, excel, my famed accomplishment in Kansas when those who invested with me won from $4,000 to $31,000 in eight months on an investment cf $100. MY TWO WELLS ARE NOW DRILLING. My promises to the investing world are being fulfilled. My Couch No. 1 well at Wortham has reached a depth of 2,810 feet—only about 100 feet from where the luscious sands are found in this field. This well is’ being drilled on 32 acres. My Porter No. 1 in Kaufman County is on its’ way. If the Porter is drilled as rapidly as the Couch it will be half way to the pay »th be- fore you read these lines. Remember—the Couch was drilled 1,500 feet in a fevr hours more than four days. ihhevallits (cicsinw ia’ Gniane at Wortham, Have you read about the remarkable performance of the Cole well of the Humphreys Company, located between my Couch No. 1 and the Meador gusher? The reports declare this well went into the sand three days ago and encountered a gas pressure strong enough to force the tools upwards a distance of 400 feet. It is said the derrick was sprayed for hours with wet gas, giving out the pungent odor of petroleum. PRE DETERMINED TO DRILL IN THE FIRST WELL IN THE WORTHAM POOL I am determined to be the discoverer of a new field right there. I have much competition in this purpose, for there are several wells on the sand at Wortham about to be completed. But in my heart I believe the Couch will be the first gusher to link up the Meador well with the great Mexia field. I am rushing it day and night to the sand. My drillers are working feverishly, for they, too, want to share the honor of opening this field to the world. Likewise, in Kaufman County, my drillevs will drill the Porter No. 1 with all possible speed, for although Colonel Humphreys has a handicap of several hundred feet on me in airy of his wells there, I believe I stand an excellent chance of being the discoverer of the pool. ‘ Colonel Humphreys has been reported as saying he will spend a million dollars to open up Ka) County. E I will spend only a few thousand dollars and strike for millions in GAIN—not EX- PENDITURE. With the outlay of these few thousand dollars, I am convinced I can duplicate many times over my Kansas achievement of winning from $4,000 to $31,000 in eight months for my stockholders who invested $100 with me. My call to the investors back in Kansas was met with extraordinary response, but this time, in this present enterprise of mine, the co-operation of the investors of America is amazing. Investors, large and small, are crowding around me now, for they realize this is the greatest effort of my life, and perhaps the last. My Texas enterprise is drawing the support of the small investor with $10, $20, $50, or $100, to put into oil, as well as that of the men and women with $500, $1,000 or $5,000 to . The investing public of America now rea lizes that of all men in the oil industry, I have proved the greatest cash profit payer, and am entirely capable of handling the money of my friends to their profit. The men and women of this country know this and cre swamping me with thelr sub- scriptions to the extent that my financing of this greatest of oll projects is gradually draw. ing to a close, Trapshooter Development Company (A Trust Estate) NO FIXED CAPITALIZATION---PAR VALUE $1.00 E.
