Logee is pastor, began with a Christmas musical Sunday evening by the choir under direction of Techla Knoll. Portions of this were ‘broadcast Monday evening. The be- ginning and primary departments of the church school held a program at 3 p. m., Tuesday at which parents were guests and the Presbyterian Mothers’ club served refreshments. ‘Wednesday evening, “The Lighting of the Christmas Candles,” a narrative pageant, was presented by high school seniors and white gifts were offered. There will be no services Christmas day. St. Mary's Procathedral The most solemn and beautiful services of the Catholic calendar are those of Christmas day. Friday there will be masses in St. Mary's pro- cathedral at 5:30, 6:50, 7:30, 8:15, 9, 9:50 and 10:30 a. m., with bendiction following the last mass. Confessions are being heard all day Thursday. Rey. Michael of Assumption abbey, Richardton, is here to assist the pas-} tor, Rev. Robert A. Feehan, and the other priests. Most Rev. Vincent Wehrle, Bishop of Bismarck, will be celebrant of the pontificial high mass at 5:30 a. m., with Rey. Joseph Schmidt as deacon, Rey. Thomas Tracy as sub-deacon asd Rev, Feehan as presbyter assistant. Rey, Feehan will deliver the sermon. The 9 o'clock mass is for children. The solemn high mass at 10:30 a. m., will be sung by Rev.
