Hansen, which will be continued from time to time, depicting character- i istic scenes and incidents of early Cali- fornia life. It is entitled “The Pros- A A A AN AN AN pectors’” and represents a phase in the life of the men to whose intrepidity and hardihood mych of the earlier de- velopment of tiis State is due, for it was their venturesome, aggressive quest for ‘‘pay dirt” that ultimately re- sulted in opening up many a region which otherwise would have walted vears for the blazed trail of the pio- neer. The first picture, which was en- titled “A Vaquero Bear Hunt,” agq: peared in the Call, Sunday, June 26.
