Cox, an electriclan, who had worked for the Edison Electric Works on Stevenson street for the past nine years. He was married and resided with his wife :i 413 Seventh avenue, Richmond district. three weeks ago, in a fit of despondency caused by nervous headaches, he left his house in the evening, ostensibly to go to work, but went instead to the ocean beach, near Point Lobos, and jumped into the water. His coat and vest were found on the beach the next morning, and his badge with his pumber on it on his veat disclosed the identity of the suicide.
