Tuearre.—The attractions given this even- anos | ing at this immensely popular estanlishment, fail to overflow it, as has been the case every night this week. Mr. Booth, the great tragedian, will make his last appearance this eveuing, ia his celebrated character of “Richard the Third,” supported by Mr. J. BR. Seott as Richmond, and Mra, Nichols as Queen Elizabeth. ‘This will be succeeded by the Hiberaian drama, entitled E, Blanchard, an eminent actor, and his highly trained dogs. Mr. Arnold, and other prominent members of the ny, Will support him. The concluding piece will be the popular farce of the “Fire Bater,” exceliently east. This unusually attractive entertainment, toge ther with the anuouncement of Mr. Booth’s last appear- ance, will draw a vast coucourse of visiters to this well managed theatre to night. Brovowam’s Lyceum —Nothing can exceed the entha- slasm with which the great artist, Charlotte Cushman, is received each evening at this highly popular and well conducted place cf amusement The ever charming “Quy Mannering” is repeated this evening. Upon the occasion of its tirst reprerex tation, it was greeted with prolonged approbation. Never have we seon the play, as & whole, so excellently acted and placed upon the staze. | Nothing could be superior to Coippendale’s Domiaie, | Lyune’s Dirk Uatterick, or Mason's Dandie Dinmount, which stood forward triumphantly, even in companioa- thip with the wonderful personation of Meg Merrilies by Miss Cushman. This great work is repeated to-night. ‘We must not omit to mention, in terms of great comavn- dation, the music, which was beautifully given, uoder the able direction of (eo Loder. The parents were arrested and imprisoned at Ver- sailles —Bovuneville ( Mo.) Observer, Aug. 26. Genera PraGay anv THe Hungarian Exites.— We learn from Mr. L. K. Breisach, a Hungarian gentleman, a resident of New York, but now in this city, that General Pragay, and the Hungarians who with him joined the expedition of Lopez, had left New York with the intention of making a sottle- ment in Texas. They had all in due form of law declared their intentions to become citizens of the United States. Mr. Breisach states that, to his knowledge, General Prazay was solicited in New York to join the Cuban enterprise, but declined on the ground that he was not then satistied of the exis- tence of a general revolu:ionary movemen: in Cuba. There seems ro doubt that he and his companions | were finally induced to take part with Lopez from a generous desire to aid a struggling poople to gain theirindependence. Such a course was in har- mony with the previous career of General Pragay, who had taken part in the short lived revolution in Vienna before that of Hungary broke out.
