L. Schuyler, in this city. We learn that the directors of the Worcester and Napbus Railroad Company have declared a dividend, payable Jan. 1, of $225 per share on 13,678 shares, amounting to $28,525 60. We understand that their earnings for the six months ending Nov. 30, 1850, have Deen enough to pay expenses, interest on the debt of the company, the above dividend, and there will be Jeft over about $4,000. The Connecticut and Passumpsic Rivers Railroad Oompany declared a dividend, on the lst January, of three per cent, amounting to $32,700, and notwith- standing the expenditure of about $7,000, occasioned by the freehet last spring,they ba jurplus left. The road is now in full operation to 8t. Johnsbury. The Lowell Manufacturing Company, at a meeting a few days ago, voted to increase their capital $600,000, in shares of $500 each, payable ten per cent, in cash, on the lst of February, the balance in three instalments of 01 wo, and three years.
