Riley, a former local man and during the war director of K. of C. operations in France, told of his experiences in France, Italy, Bel- glum, Holland, Switzerland, England and Ireland, and he kept his audience in a fit. of laughter by the. pleasing anecdotes of his travels. Rev. J. T. Winters gave benediction at the close of the evening’s program and America was sung by the entire gathering as the closing number. The comimittee in charge of the banquet consisted of J. Baltimore, Md., Oct. 14.—With Yiood streaming from -bullet wounds in her head and body, Marita Lyons, 21 years old, of Glenridge, N. J., a student at Goucher College, stumbled up to several men working on Rogers avenue in the fashionable Green Spring Valley yesterday afternoon and asked for help.
