Another big owner is the Wakul- la Edgewater company, said to be a Dupont subsdiary, of Edgewater Park, Mississippi. This company Owns 433.25 acres on Sugar Loaf Key. Another large owner on Sugar Loaf is Ester Julian who with Eloise Knox, jointly and indivi- dually, own 220 acres. He has 121 acres on Sugar Loaf. She has 98.75 acres. William J. Bryant is a new owner on the Keys. He has been buying up land and separate islands in the last year or so. He owns O'Hara Key which has 38 acres, and 23.25 acres of Shark Key. Key Farm Land company owns the other 23.50 acres of Shark Key. This company also owns all of Half Moon Key’s 67 acres, and further owns all of East Rockland Key which comprises | 381.75 acres. It is rumored that Key Farm Land is selling to | biggest Key landowner R. E. Crane. | Rockland Key is also largely | owned by Key Farm. Of this Key, | it holds 143.75 acres while the | United States owns 19.25 acres, not on the waterfront. Next to Rockland and East Rock- land is Big Coppitt Key.
