NEW YORK, June 30.—Production of electricity in the United States for the week ended June 26 was 2,238,- 332,000 kilowatt hours, an increase of 1.1 per cent over the previous week's figure of 2,213,783,000 kilowatt hours and a gain of 11.6 per cent over output of 2,005,243,000 kilowatt hours in the same period a year ago, the Edison Electric Institute report- ed today. The increase, which was a more than seasonally expected one, carried the Associated Press index of power production, with 1929-30 taken as 100, to 120.8 from 119.8 in the week before.
