PHIL PLANT TO FIGHT $1,000,000 ALIMONY SUIT By the Assoclated Press BRIDGEPORT, Conn., June 1.— Phil Plant, one-time Broadway play- boy and more .ecently a Connecticut poultry farmer and amateur scientist, today to fight the $1,000,000 alimony request of his divorce-seeking wife, Mrs. Edna Dunham Plant. She charged cruelty, intemperance and infidelity in her complaint. Mrs. Plant, who is Plant’s second wife—the first was Constance Bennett, film actress—originally asked $500,000 ali- mony.
