B the Associated Press. NEW YORK, March 29.—High- grade corporate bonds pushed gen- erally higher today. but most ad- vances were fractional. Buying was small, with traders end institutional purchasers hesitant in the face of uncertainties. United States Government issues were a little lower. Hints as to Treasury plans for financing over the next few months were expected soon with the return of Secretary Morgenthau to Washington. Losses in the Federal list ranged to around 4-32 of a point. Foreign bonds were likewise quiet, with recessions in some South Amer- ican 5155 and Ts. Improvement in the corporate field was fairly general, although some carrier issues, including Santa Fe 4s and Southern Pacific 4!.s, faltered a bit. American Telephone 3%s were up a fraction, as were Consolidated Edison 3';s, Great Northern 4. series “E,” McKesson & Robbins 5. Texas Corp. 3':s and Western Union 5s. FEDERAL LAND BANKS NEW YORK.
