TREASURY STUDIES CURRENCY RATIOS Need for Some Changes Reported Discussed by Monetary Experts. Ey the Associated Press.« Officials said last night the Treasury is checking up on international cur- rency relationships to see whether they are serving the world's needs adequately. Secretary Morgenthau continued, | meanwhile, a series of discussions which he began with monetary ex- perts. There was no annpuncement from the conferees themselves, but ! conference dealt with the question whether there should be some slight realignment of currencies. It was emphasized, however, that no action has been taken and that the matter has not been discussed with France or Great Britain, co-partici- pants under the tri-power moneury accord.
