By the Associated Press. LOS ANGELES, January T—A eoroner’s jury found yesterday that Ross Alexander, young motion picture actor, shot himself to death with suicidal intent January 2. Anne Nagel, film actress and second wife of Alexander, testified he ap- peared in good spirits the day he ended his life. “He went over our plans for the new year, and we spoke of a second honeymoon,” she said. RADIO IAMBOREE 10 HONOR ZUKOR WRC Broadcast at Midnight Features Stars of Screen and Air. N OFF stage jamboree by a number of celebrated screen and radio stars will feature the Paramount Silver Jubilee honoring Adolph Zukor which WRC and other N. B. C. stations will broad- cast at 12 o'clock midnight. The list of participants includes Jack Benny, Gladys Swarthout, Leo- pold Stokowski, Boris Morros, Carole Lombard, Fred MacMurray, Charles Butterworth and Dorothy Lamour. The broadcast will follow a dinner in the Paramount studios at which Zukor will be honored. For the last 35 years he has been the guiding genius in Paramount and one of the leaders in the motion picture in- dustry. PROPOSED amendment to the Constitution limiting the Presi- dent to a single six-year term will be discussed during the “America’s Town Meeting of the Alr” on WMAL at 9:30. The speakers include Dr. Arthur E. Bestor, president of Chautauqua Institution; Morris L. Ernst, consti- tutional lawyer, and Stanley High, director of the Good Neighbor League. ROBERT BENCHLEY, famous critic and monologist, will be the guest | of Lanny Ross during his Show Boat program on WRC at 9. Margaret McCrae, “blues” singer, also will con- tribute to the program. 'DGAR BERGEN, ventriloquist, will return to Rudy Vallee's variety show on WRC at 8. In the 10 minutes to be devoted to this feature, 13 stars and as many lesser actors will be impersonated in lines from the plays which have won awards.
