CITIZENS ASSAL UTILITIES BOARD North Cleveland Park Group Favors Naming of New Commission. In action arising from a discussion of the Capital Transit Co.'s recent adoption of additional one-man street cars, the North Cleveland Park Ciii- gens’ Association formally resolved last night to favor the appointment of a new Public Utilities Commission. ‘The opinion of the association was that the commission’s concession to the company in the matter of addi- tional cars of the one-man type was unwarranted in the view of public safety. The association also took the stand of other civic groups in opposing the use of additional one-man cars. Dr. H. N. Roberts was elected presi- dent of the association at last night's meeting, the first of the season. Other officers chosen were J. W. Howes, vice president; M. E. Roberts, secretary; R. L. Risdon, treasurer, and Paul E. ‘Waring, corresponding secretary. Del- egates to the Federation of Citizens’ Associations, both of whom were re- elected, were Dr. H. N. Roberts and J. B. Dickman, jr.
