T e Warrenton Horse Show This Week Many From Washing- ton to Attend Sport Event Friday. EAR ADMIRAL CARY T. GRAYSON, head of the Amer- jcan Red Cross, will go to Warrenton, Va., Tor the horse show which will open Friday and con- tinue through Saturday. He will pre- sent the John Barton Payne Memorial Trophy to the winner of the Corinth- ian class at the show. The late Judge Payne was head of the Red Cross and after his death Admiral Grayson was selected to succeed him. They both were property owners in Fauquier County. The Assistant Secretary of State, Mr. R. Walton Moore, is presi- dent of the Memorial Committee, which will retain ownership in the memorial permanently. The trophy consists of a massive bowl, tray and ladle, valued at $7,500. Mr. North Fletcher, secretary of the ‘Warrenton Horse Show, and his moth- er, Mrs. L. V. Froment, will entertain at tea Friday afternoon after the| show, the party being planned ~ln§ hamor of the judges for the show. Saturday the judges, officials and di- rectors of the Horse Show Association will be entertained at luncheon at| North Wales. Mrs. Froment will have as her guest for the show and over Sunday Miss Wilhelmine Kirby of Bedford Hills, N. Y.
