The spectacular water pageant fea- turing the President’s Cup Regatta program Friday night is attracting a record list of entrants, many from other cities, the Arrangements Com- mittee said today. The gaily-lighted craft will pass in review before the pavilion, where the regatta queen, Miss Leila Peeples, owill sit with her court, and as a climax, & fireworks display will be shot from a barge off Gravelly Point. The parade gets under way at 8 o’clock, and for a half hour preced- ing, the Navy Band will give a con- cert at the reviewing stand. The* parking lot on Fourteenth street, opposite the Commerce Build- ing, will be available over Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Sun- day, as will the area on Constitution avenue, opposite the Navy Building. Parking will be permitted on roads and driveways in the vicinity of Lin- coln Memorial and other points in the park system.
