Bur- ton, president, announces that the re- assignment to circle groups will take place at this meeting. ASTOR 10 YEARS AT HYATTSVILLE D._Hobart Evans’ Record at Presbyterian Church Reviewed. Rev. D. Hobart Evans has just com- pleted his tenth year as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Hyatts- ville, Md. During these years 245 members have been received into the church, the present membership being 338. The Sunday school, under the leadership of Dr. M. M. Haring, as superintendent, has grown. Mr. Evans came to Hyattsville from Pennsylvania. He took his college work at Bucknell University and his theological work at Princeton, having also taken graduate work at Princeton University and the American Univer- sity. During the last seven years he has been on the faculty of the School of Religion of Howard University, teaching in the New Testament De- partment. In 1933 he was elected to serve for one year as moderator of the Presbytery of Washington City. From July 3-10 he will be one of the leaders at the Presbyterian Conference for Young People at Hood College, Prederick, Md,, teaching one of the courses and conducting the vesper service each evening.
