Weddings Here and - InNearby Virginia An attractively. arranged wedding took place yesterday when Miss Kath- ryn Augusta Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude O. Wilson of Spencer, N. C, and Mr. Julian 8. Busky were married in the home of the bride's sunt, Mrs. Richard Russell Brown. The Rev. Allen A. Stockdale, D. D., rector of the First Congregational Church, performed the ceremony bes fore an improvised elfer of white ehrysanthemums and roses. The bride wore a blue ensemble trimmed in fox iur with sccessories to match and a corsage bouquet of orchids and lilies of the valley. Her only attendant was Miss Lucille Tomes of Santa Monica, Calif. The bride received her education at Spen- cer High School and Sacred Heart in Salisbury. She is a descendant of former Gov. Morehead of North Caro- lina. Mr. Busky is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Busky of Washington. A simple but prettily arranged wed- ding took place in the United Brethren Church Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock when Miss Laura Roberta Dunawin, daughter of Mr. Walter M. Dunawin, became the bride of Mr. Horace E. Williams, son of Mrs. Georgia Williams. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. 8. B. Daugherty. The bride was given in marriage by | her father and wore a wine-color velvet gown, made on Grecian lines, with matching accessories. Her shoulder bouquet was of gardenias. Miss Bernadine Rodgers, the bride’s only attendant, was gowned in royal blue velvet and wore a shoulder bouquet of Talisman roses. Mr. Paul D. Williams of Philadel- phia, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and the ushers were Mr. John C. Williams and Mr. C. Griffith Dudley. After a reception in the bride’s | home, at which the bridegroom’s mother assisted in receiving, they left for a wedding trip through the South.
