Gallagher, jr., of 14 = Bates street; Martha (Bunny) Stevens, | who is 3 and the daughter of Mr. and | Mrs. M. A. Stevens of 4111 Gault place northeast, and Jean Brent, 2, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Brent, 2535 Thirteenth street. First Contest Monday. The first baby contest will be held 4+ Monday at 4 pm., and there will be other competitions at the same hour on succeeding days. Each winner will | receive a suitable prize and a Santa Claus will distribute presents to all children under 6 who attend the show. ‘Youngsters between the ages of 1 and 4 years are eligible to compete. In past vears, between 30 and 50 babies have taken part in each con- test, and at least that number of en- trants is expected this year. The audience picks the winner by its applause. The food show wlll open Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Calvert Exhibition Hall, opposite the Shoreham Hotel, and continue for a week.
