NEW YORK, July 30.—Ofil stocks gave a bullish performance in today's Curb Market, but elsewhere lower tendencies were generally the rule as profit takers followed the lead of traders on the big board. Among the best of the gainers were Gulf Oil of Pennsylvania at 63}; and Humble Oil at 60%, each up 2% points. Other fractional advances were shown by International Petroleum at 345, Hiram Walker at 27'%, Distillers Corp.-Seagrams at 203% and Creole Petroleum at 16%. BONDS ON THE CURB MARKET. DOMESTIC BONDS. NEW YORK, July 30.—Corporate earnings reports made public today included: American Rolling Mill Co.—Quarter ended June 30, consolidated net in- come, $1,087,529, equal, alter preferred dividend requirements to’' 62 cents a common share, compared 'with $1,- 371,474 in the previous quarter, which was equal to 78 cents s common share, and $1,472,879, or 84 cents a share, in the June quarter last year. Ludlum Steel Reports. Ludlum Steel Co., 6 months ended June 30, net profit, $345,535, equal, after preferred dividends, to 99 cents a share on the common, against $375,- 642, or $1.14 a common share, in the first half of last year. Youngstown Sheet & Tube. Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. sec- ond quarter profit, $124,758, compared with a loss of $595,770 in the first quarter of 1935. The net profit re- mained after all charges, including depreciation and depletion. Colorado Fuel & Iron. Coiorado Fuel & Iron Co., quarter ended June 30, profit, $47,527, com-| 5t pared with $51,480 in previous quarter and $369,419 in the June quarter last year. City Ice & Fuel Co. City Ice & Fuel Co., 6 months ended June 30, net profit, $376,206 after charges, but before subsidiary pre- ferred dividends, compared with net last year. Arundel Net Improves. Pennsylvania Power & Light, 12| months ended June 30, net income $8,558,804 against $9,300,414 in the | preceding 12 months. | Redisco FINANCI STAGES ADVANCE Fertilizer Association Finds Average at 77.8 Against 77.3 Week Ago. The general level of wholesale com- \ modity prices was higher in the week ended July 27 than in the preced- ing week, according to the index of the National Fertllizer Association. This index last week was 77.8 per cent of the 1926-1928 average, compared with 77.3 in the week ended July 20. A month ago the index was 77.2 and a year ago 72.3.
