"B—12 FORT MYER READY FORE,M.1.GB0YS 215 Youths Will Begin 30- Day Encampmant on Tuesday. The Citizens' Military Training Camp at Fort Myer, Va. will throw open its gates Tuesday for the first squad of 215 men to begin the 30- day encampment. Everything is in readiness, Col. Kenyon Joyce, commanding officer at the fort, said today. Those reporting for the month’s training under Regu- lar Army supervision and instruction will be received, registered, clothed, fed and housed within two hours of their arrival on the post, he added. Candidates will appear before Army doctors for physical examination, after having received their assignments. Persons found to be physically dis- qualified will be withdrawn from service. The men will be trained under su- pervision of Col. J. B. P. Clayton Hill, commanding officer of the 306th Cav- alry, and 17 officers of his regiment. Col. Hill is a former Representative from Maryland and is a familiar fig- ure at Fort Myer, having undergone military training with his regiment there for years, New street signs have been placed about the fort to assist the C. M. T. C. men in getting around. The streets were named in honor of famous war | generals, including Washington, Lee, Jackson, Grant and Sheridan. | .
