C. Man Pleads Guilty to False | Pretenses and Larceny by Trick. Pleading guilty to 11 charges of false pretenses and 1 of larceny by trick, Raymond Kircher was sentenced by Judge John P. McMahon in Police Court yesterday to serve a total of 360 days on 6 of the charges and to pay fies of $1,800 or serve 360 edditional on the other 6 charges. Police say Kircher, who previously was arrested on a like charge and at- tempred suicide by hanging while con- fined at the third precinct station house, had cashed 11 worthless checks, Johi mostly on friends, in some instances by proffering the checks in payment of purchases and receiving the differ- ence in change. The larceny by trick charge was the result of his having approached a young woman whom he knew and persuaded her to give him $10 for the release of an alleged mutual friend from jail.
