The big car is fitted out with all ~quipment needed for complete phys- ical examinations of habies and young children, including a children’s size dental cheir and appliances for use in oral hygiene examinations. The “healthmobile” is staffed by & doctor and & dentist, and arangements for the tour are handled in each county by the county health officers and the public health nurse, Dr. Knox said. Examinations usually are made | within the car, but the work easily can be transferred indoors in event of inclement weather. No medical treat- ment will be given, Dr. Knox said, and | children needing attention will be referred to their own doctors for med- ical supervision and care.
