The financial press considers it impossible that the bill will be re- ported from the Senate Banking Com- mittee before the middle of next week. | That would leave only three days for enactment before July 1, when per- manent features of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. law go into effect. | The bill may be split as some of the Insurance features are considered too harsh.
