MONTREAL, June 4—Women are denser in the head than men, Dr. Hector Mortimer, research as- sociate in biochemistry at McGill University, asserted yesterday be- fore the American Neurological Association. Dr. Mortimer said removal of the pituitary gland from a rat and injection of purified hormones had brought great changes in the animal’s skull The changes had been observed chiefly in people suffering de- rangement of the pituitary gland, Dr. Mortimer said. Such troubles were often hereditary.
