Information booths will be erected at all main gateways to Washington for the Shrine convention, June 9 to 15, for the benefit of visitors. This was announced today by Edwin C. Dutton, chairman of the Shrine Service and Information Committee, who accepted the offer of Earl A. Nash, general manager of the District Motor Club, to put up the booths. Each booth will be equipped with telephones and will be manned by employes of the motor club. Visitors will be able to ascertain the location of the rooms to which they have been assigned, and will be given directions for going to their rooms direct instead of going to Shrine headquarters first. In addition to this service, Nash has arranged to furnish 10,000 maps of downtown Washington for visitors, and to maintain special wires from the A. A. A. switchboard to housing headquarters of the Shrine committee in order to direct A. A. A. members who come to the auto club for infor- or rooms. Official Cars Enrolled. William Russell Willhide, 24, for- mer president of the Epworth League and a teacher in the Petworth Meth- odist Episcopal Church Sunday School since the age of 16, died 'Wedneflhy at Asheville, N. C., where he had gone for his health. A graduate of Central High School, he was the son of William Z. and Bessie G. Wilihide, 714 Varnum street. He had been studying medicine in Philadelphia until his {llness. Funeral services will be held at his parents’ home Saturday at 2 p.m., fol- lowed by burial in Cedar Hill Cem- etery.
