CHICAGO, May 10 () —The Na- tional Bafety Council in session here yesterday forecast that automobile fatalities in 1935 will exceed the rec- ord high of 36,000 deaths last year, and pointed to careless drivers, the increased use of automobiles and higher speeds as principal causes. Holmes, pastor emeritus of Westminster Church, Buffalo, who served as associate pas- tor of the First Presbyterian Church here more than 40 years ago, died yesterday in New York City, it was learned today.
