FINANCIAL. CURB IRREGULAR LATE IN SESSION Selling Appears in Metal, 0il and Utility Issues. Support Slow. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK. April 8 —Curb market prices developed irregularity today when selling appeared in oils, metals and utilities. While offerings were not large, sup- port was slow in coming in and frac- tional declines were well scattered among leaders. Active issues selling lower included | Aluminum Co., Cities Service, Electric Bond & Share, Lake Shore Mines, Pittsburgh Plate Glass and Interna- tional Petroleum. NEW YORK, April 8.—The New York Stock Exchange has requested the Securities and Exchange Commis- sion to grant it authority to strike the shares of Hupp Motor Car Corp. from the exchange list, it was learned today. This recommendation was made in a letter sent by the exchange to the S. E. C. last Priday. Efforts to remove the shares follow & controversy between the exchange by Hupp officials.
