ORGANIZED PLAY CONFERENCE TOPIC 27 Organizations to Sponsor Insti- tute at Roosevelt High School. ‘Twenty-seven organizations, includ- ing Government agencies, have joined together to sponsor the Sixth Annual Play Institute of the District of Co- lumbia, to be held on eight successive Tuesday evenings, beginning April 9, at the armory of Roosevelt High School. | _The institute, open to all leaders in recreational activities, will discuss and demonstrate actual organized play and recreation. The registration fee is §1 for the entire course. Miss Ella_Gardiner, director of the Children’s Bureau of the Department of Labor; Augustus D. A site for the permanent Summer camp for underprivileged members of the Boys' Club of the Metropolitan Police, to be located near Tall Tim- bers and Piney Point, was selected Friday by the board of directors ‘VALUES of the club at its first 1935 meeting. ‘The camp, to cost $10,000, will be located on a tract of 40 acres, with 1,000 feet of beach frontage on the Lower Potomac.
