Mr. Firnan was anxious to have wide pubicity given the incident because the Government has experienced trouble with people purloining ducks from the Federal Bird Sanctuary at Roaches Run. VICTIM OF STREET CAR IS BLAMED IN MISHAP An accident due to.the carelessness of the deceased was the verdict of a coroner’s jury today in the death of Charles B. Falbush, 61, 3607 Four- teznth street, who was struck by a street car on December 31 and died in Garfield Hospital January 2. The testimony of Edward A. Seeley, motorman, and passengers on the car was to the effect that Falbush had stood in the street on Fourteenth street just south of Spring road, be- tween the curb and the car track until Jjust before the car reached him, when he suddenly walked directly in its path It was snowing at the time, but witnesses testified a quick stop was made.
