The trio, members of a carpenters’ gang of prisoners, disarmed one guard and threw him from a truck in their dash for freedom yesterday; kept the | foreman and several fellow prisoners in the truck while they drove across | the farm and picked up four other | convicts to prevent news of the break from spreading.
