SANTIAGO, Chile (#).—Military and civic training in all schools has been instituted by Chile in its campaign | against Communism. Several hundred teachers recently were dismiseed when it was proven that they either were members of Com- munist “cells” or had taught Com- munistic ideas. Domingo Duran, minister of educa- tion, and Emilio Bello, minister of dAel-l upils are to be given military train- flm starting from the first grade and continuing through the university. Civic training will aim at instilling sincere love of country in the rising generation “We have Communism on the run, and these new courses will make real citizens of our children,” said Senor Duran.
