LONDON, June 25.—The 11-year-old marital romance of Paul Robeson, colored singer, has gone on the rocks of sheer ennui, his wife divulged to- night. “I began proceedings in New York courts about & month ago anc hope to have my divorce soon,” she seii. “It is all perfectly friendly and we #ill keep on being friends, but we've seen s0 much of each other and both are just & bit tired and want our freedom. “I am_not giving the name of the corespondent because I don’t know and don't care who she is. All I know is that there have been a Mr. and Mrs. Paul Robeson staying around New York hotels. “It i most incredible, though, that people should be linking Paul's name with that of a famous titled English- ‘woman, since she is just about the one person in England we don’t know.” LEAGUE REPORT DELAYED Findings in Manchurian Conflict ‘Withheld for Study.
