Erskine Clement. Among the out of town guests were Mrs. William F. Hal- sey of Washington. mother of the bride; Mr. and M3 Richard Cooke, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Marshall, Capt. and Mrs. Leonard R. Sargent, Mr. and Mrs. R. Cornelius Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. William Old, Mrs. C. Stribling and Mrs. John G. Tilton of Norfolk, and Col. and Mrs. Harry N. Cootes of Fort Myer, Va After the rehearsal Friday evening for the wedding of Miss Halsey, daugh- ter of Capt. and Mrs. William F. Halsey and Mr. Spruance, the wedding party and out of town guests were enter- tained at supper by Capt. and Mrs. Charles C. Soule. Mrs. James Garretson of New York left Monday after a visit of several days to Mrs. Edward Rich on the Sev- ern River. Mrs. Garretson came to Maryland for the Hanson-Baldwin wedding which took place at Towson Saturday afternoon, June 18. Mr. Woodward Baldwin gave a lunch party at his country home “Bunker Hill,” at Waterbury, near Annapolis Sunday, the guests being Willard Bald win and Miss Julie Baldwin of New York; Mrs. Richard Baldwin of Water- bury; Mr. and Mrs. Summerfield Bald- win of Seton College, near Pittsburgh; Mr. and Mrs. Summerfield Baldwin of Ruxton, Maryland. and Dr. and Mrs. Nathan Starr of Annapolis.
