GLENN DALE, Md., June 9—Purchase | of a new ambulance for tha Prince Georges County rescue squad through allotment of a portion cf each com- chare of the county appropria- pproved by the County Firemen's Association here last night Eleven companies voted against the plan, six for it, while three declined to vete Chief Karl Young of the Mount Rainier Volunteer Fire Department urged authorizing the county commis- sicns to provide and maintain a Tescue squad. He said he thought the time had come for the rescue squad to be supported either by the county or State. Urges Bill for Legislature. Vincent A. Simmel of the Cottage City Volunteer Fire Department sug- gested that a bill be drafted for the next Legislature to take care of the ambulance and hospitalization of the victims from Prince Georges County. The 11 companies who were not in favor of authorizing the purchase of an ambulance said they were still willing to help the rescue squad with contribu- ticns. The entire association expressed its willingness to co-operate. Committee Is Named. A committee was appointed to co operate with the Bowie Fire Company by Dr. James H.
