SOCIETY. Eta Alumnae Chapter Will Be Entertained At Studio Tomorrow Teas, Bridge and Other Af- fairs on Sorority Programs for Week. Eta Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Beta Pi, international legal sorority, will be entertained tomorrow evening by Miss Marie Saunders and Miss Julia Banks at the studio of Miss Clara Saunders. The principal feature of the evening will be a talk on the “Law-making Pow- ers of the Federal Government Inde- pendent of Congress” by Mrs. Martha Gold, clerk of the Senate Committee on Rules and secretary to Senator Moseu of New Hampshire. Plans will be formulated and dis- cussed and the chapter's delegate and alternate elected for the biennial prov- ince convention, to be held the week of April 25 at the Carlton Hotel. The University of Michigan alumnae will be hostesses at tea Wednes- day from 4 to 6 o'clock at the A. A. U. ‘W. club house, 1634 I street. Their guests will be the alumnae and undergraduates who are coming on a Washington tour from Ann Arbor. The George Washington University Alumnae Chapter of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority will be entertained Tucsday, April 12, at the home of Miss Elsa Johnson, Hawthorne road, Lee Heights, | Va. Mrs. Ellowene Niklason will assist. | The Washington _Alliance of Delta | Delta Fraternity will be entertained at bridge Wednesday evening in the home of Mrs. William Collins, 6703 Forty- fourth street, Chevy Chase. Assisting Mrs. Collins as co-hostesses will be Mrs. Marc Phillips, Mrs. Robert Barnett, Mrs. Lioyd Charles Stenger, Mrs. Bert Frost and Miss Edith Dawson. Alphs Gamma Delta Alumnae Club will be entertained on next Thursday evening with a buffet supper by Miss Fthel Riley, 2331 Cathedral avenue.
