BENEFT PLAVED T0PROVDE SHOES Entertainment and Dance to Be Given at Mayflower Tomorrow Night. An_entertainment and dance for the Benefit of the Old Woman Who Lived in & Shoe will be held tomorrow night at the Mayflower Hotel to assist Washing- ton’s famous charitable old lady to ob- tain shoes for the needy of the city While 20,000 pairs of shoes have been contributed to and distributed from t} ©Old Woman's headquarters, 1514 Hstreet, in the 10 weeks of her activity here, the demand still exceeds the supply avail- able there. Admission to the festivities tomorrow night will therefore be $1 and & worn pair of shoes The program of entertainment will include selections by the Radiotone | Quartet, Gideon Lyon, Edwin C. Steffe, George O'Connor and Matt Horn.
