AUBOUSSIN, with his collection of diamonds, not only launches these stones as the smartest for Winter, but introduces several new types of jewelry, including a new cuff bracelet, evening necklaces which are attached to the shoulder straps of the gown, and hair ornaments of con- ventionalized flower patterns which may also be uscsd as shoulder or belt ornaments. All stones are mounted in platinum with a new dull finish like hammered silver. French Derby at Chantilly on Sunday brought out a majority of white and pastel colored dresses, most often made of double georggtte or crepe romain. These materlals, worked in veined effects in floral.or conventionalized patterns, replaced prints.
