CLARENDON, Va, May 21.—The Arlington County Garden Club has started plans for its annual flower show, 1o be held Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, in the rooms formerly occu- pled by the Virginia Public Service Co., 18 Wilson boulevard. The Neighbor- hood and Barcroft Garden Clubs, in- stead of having their individual shows this Spring, have accepted invitation to participate in this county-wide af- fair, and indicailons are that it will be the most elabor>te ever held in this section. In order to make the show of further extent and to stimulate interest in the movement for beautification of the county to conform with plans of the Arlington County Bicentennial Council, sponsors of the show are seeking to have all other organizations, civic, fra- ternal and church, co-operate, Paul W. Bowman is general chairman in charge of arrangements. He is be- ing assisted by H. L. Zile, president of the Arlington Club; officials of the other garden clubs and the following sub- committees: Entry, Miss Ruth Cath- cart, Mrs. E. V. Colberg, Mrs, Flora De- ver, Mrs. P. C.
