Philip Snyder at the commandant’s quarters, in honor of the new superintendent, Rear Ad- miral Thomas C. Hart and Mrs. Hart, who have recently moved into the | quarters vacated by Read Admiral Samuel S. Robison and Mrs. Robison. The reception included the heads of the departments at the Naval Academy and their wives, and is the first of the entertainments to be given for Rear Admiral Hart and Mrs. Hart. Mrs. Hart _is the daughter of Rear Admiral and Mrs. Willard H. Brownson, and as Rear Admiral Brownson was both superintendent and commandant here, the family have many friends in Anna- polis.
