The Association of Oldest Inhabitants of the District of Columbia last night recommended larger appropriations for | the community center department of the public schools. lar meeting of the association upon a resolution by James F. Suggestion was made that the Ellipse in the rear of the White House be abolished and that the space created by such action be used for parking.
