Savings Bank Conference Here. The eleventh annual conference of the National Association of Mutual Sav- ings Banks will be held in the Hotel Mayflower May 20-22, inclusive. Daylight Saving Starts Monday. All the local brokerage houses sta:t their tickers an hour earlier next Menday when the daylight saving schedule for the Summer is adopted in New York. Brokers and their army of clerks will have to get up a bit earlier in the morning in order to get down town in time to look over the morning financial information sent out of New York, digest it, and be ready for the starting of the tape and the arrival of early customers.
