Henry Alber, 69, Washington insur- ance man, died yesterday at his home, 2204 Decatur place, of pneumonia. He had been a lifelong resident of Wash- ington, and for 25 years was connected with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. At the time of his death he was local agent for the Home Beneficial In- surance Co. of Richmond, Va. Mr. Alber's death was preceded only a week by the death of his wife, . Jeanetta Alber, on February 4. He is survived by a son, Earl Dare Alber; a daughter, Miss Myrtle Anna Alber, and three grandchildren.
